The king had wealth, and power, but he wanted more. He wanted to live forever. To this end, he made a deal with devils—his lifespan would be tied to his wealth. The more money he possessed, the longer he would live.

In his pursuit of immortality, the king began to ransack his own kingdom. To this day he sends his monsters, looting and pillaging from helpless citizens, stacking his gold ever higher.

Protect the village, reclaim its gold, and eventually… take down the greed-fueled king.
